एक तस्वीर/A picture💝 (Poetry blog-34)

…….

I saw his picture again today,
The blank pages of that book are somewhat colorful today.
Emotions are mixed in words,
Today the clouds are raining a bit differently.

His smile has caused such havoc today,
The ocean stays in his eyes,
And after many days the dawn of my night has come.

The darkness turned into light,
The reason is him, yes just him.
It is enough for them to pass by,
This is the reason for my existence, yes only this.

……..

I didn’t post anything with the romantic genre for quite some time. This is my forte, and i’ve always enjoyed writing this the most. Trying other things is nice but being in your comfort zone is the best (sometimes).
So, here i am with my favourite style of writing, i hope you enjoyed this.

Share your views in the comments section, always happy to hear from you. See you soon. Cheers!

  3. Hi friend,
    1. Sometimes I think I’m misusing the word ‘friend’ to get what I want (for example, the way ‘can you write a new blog post for me?’ sounds).
The word ‘friend’, largely covers the gap of “unknown things”(how we’re in real life?), in the ONLINE TALKS, between two conversation-oriented minds.
    2. I saw this blog post two days ago. And I decided to read in the free time.
I wanted to read and ‘think’ on what you have written or ‘translated’.
    3. Now let’s come to “The picture ”, your translation of “Ek Tasveer”:
    i) The language of the original text and your translation, is easy and open-ended.
ii) There are total three stanzas, linking one another. The flow of the conversation is smooth and progressive.
iii) “Khayal agar hote hai, toh khubsurat hone chahiye. Aur agar kisi ke khayal khubsurat hai toh, wah insaan bhi khubsurat huaa.”
The physical interactions between two persons have more meaning than their mere occurrence.
The attraction or the love or the attachment which I have for someone, inspires me to think differently or to go beyond the limits.
The writer of the above poem seems an imaginative person also.
Saying, “The blank pages of that book are somewhat colorful today” shows the poet’s wish to become colourful or to fillup her blank white pages with some colours.
The language is figurative, means, conveying the message indirectly, through comparisons. For example, “His smile has caused such havoc today”.
Basically, this poem describes, a beautiful relationship between two persons, maybe husband and wife or two lovers, from “her side” (to him).
    4. Final words: The lines, “The darkness turned into light, The reason is him, yes just him” tells that the poem is encouraging and uplifting also.
I enjoyed reading the poem, Vidah.
    Thank you for sharing. 😊
Apna dhyan rakho. My best wishes to you.✨✨
